Prices for single polished diamonds are based on actual traded prices, provided by a number of diamond companies in the main diamond centres who have been carefully selected for their range of activity in polished or specialisation in specific areas of polished. The price shown in the price matrix is the average price from prices that we have received over 30 days. If you click on an average price, a screen will appear showing the individual prices for the particular item. The full range of prices covering 0.3 carats – 3 carats. Live prices are free of charge by the trade after registration until February 10, 2009. Thereafter, the subscription fee is $500 per annum. PolishedPrices has created a printable Benchmark price list for the trade and a Percentage movements list. The Benchmark price list serves as a guideline based on actual transactions and will be updated according to the system set out in our methodology. The Benchmark price list is free of charge.
The weekly Percentage movements list shows the percentage changes between the prices shown on the benchmark price list and the actual prices reported to PolishedPrices and published on the PolishedPrices website. The Percentage movements list will be free of charge after registration until February 10, 2009. Thereafter the subscription fee is $100 per annum.The new Benchmark price list and Percentage movements list complement the live prices based on actual wholesale transactions since 2002.
